Hosting and server log files
When you visit serverradar24.com, our web server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested URL, amount of data transferred, referrer, and browser and operating system (user agent). This data is stored in server log files to operate the website securely and reliably and to fend off attacks. The log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and error-free operation of the website.
The server is hosted by: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen. A data processing agreement is in place with the hosting provider.
Cloudflare
We use Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) for name resolution (DNS) and as a proxy that protects the website against attacks and speeds up delivery. All requests pass through Cloudflare's servers, which process the connection data listed above, including the IP address. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; a data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the security and availability of the website.
Counting page views
We count how often each page is viewed per day. Only the date, domain (.de or .com), page and number of views are stored – no IP addresses, no cookies, no device or browser identifiers. It is not possible to identify individual visitors.
Clicks on provider links
Links to providers first pass through a redirect on our website (/go/…). We store the provider, the offer, the domain, the page the click came from and the time. We do not store IP addresses or other identifiers. The count shows which providers and offers attract interest and is used for settling accounts with affiliate programs.
After the redirect you are on the provider's website, where the provider's privacy policy applies. Affiliate links carry a partner ID of ours; the provider or its affiliate network may set cookies on its own website to attribute an order to our recommendation. We have no influence on this.
Price and offer data
We fetch prices, specifications and availability from the providers' interfaces on our server. No data about you is transmitted to the providers when you visit our website.
Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process your details to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where a contract is concerned, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). To exercise them, contact [email protected].
